통인화랑에서는 국내외 유명작가를 초대하여 2019년 2020년, 2022년에 이어 이번 2023년 제4회 국제 판화전인 ‘International Handprinted Edition展’을 연다. 한국을 대표하는 판화작가 김상구, 김서울, 민경아, 박정원, 이언정, 이영애, 정승원과 함께 각국을 대표하는 열명의 작가 abdullah al bashir(방글라데시), akhinoor binte ali(방글라데시), chris pig(영국), nittaya hermek(태국), Praween Piangchoompu(태국), silvio pozzati(이탈리아), Susanna Doccioli(이탈리아), teerawoot com-on(태국), teppong honsrinuang(태국), Tuukka Peltonen(핀란드)가 참여하였다. 각국의 작가들을 통해 그 나라만의 문화적 고유성과 특별함을 판화를 매개로 알리고자 한다. ‘국제판화전’ 에서는 판화만이 가지는 예술적 깊이와 다양한 기법을 세계적인 작가들의 작품을 통해 그 수준과 가치를 감상할 수 있다. 각각 고유한 예술세계관을 가진 17인 작가의 다양한 시선을 감상할 수 있는 작품전에 초대한다.
Tong-In Gallery presents the 4th International Handprinted Edition Exhibition in 2023, following the successful editions held in 2019, 2020, and 2022. This exhibition features renowned printmakers from Korea—Kim Sang-gu, Kim Seoul, Min Kyung-ah, Park Jung-won, Lee Eon-jung, Lee Young-ae, and Jung Seung-won—alongside ten internationally acclaimed artists: Abdullah Al Bashir (Bangladesh), Akhinoor Binte Ali (Bangladesh), Chris Pig (UK), Nittaya Hermek (Thailand), Praween Piangchoompu (Thailand), Silvio Pozzati (Italy), Susanna Doccioli (Italy), Teerawoot Com-on (Thailand), Teppong Honsrinuang (Thailand), and Tuukka Peltonen (Finland). Through the works of these artists, the exhibition aims to highlight each country’s unique cultural identity and distinct artistic sensibility, using printmaking as a medium of expression. The International Handprinted Edition Exhibition offers viewers the opportunity to appreciate the artistic depth and technical diversity that only printmaking can convey, as represented by leading artists from around the world. Tong-In Gallery warmly invites visitors to experience the diverse perspectives and distinctive artistic worlds of these seventeen participating artists.
