순간들이 모여 일상이 만들어지고, 일상 안에는 다양한 경험과 감정이 녹여져 있다. 이경훈 작가는 ‘순간’이 감싸고 있는 시간에 대한 추상적인 감정의 형태를 인물, 풍경, 그리고 사물에 투영시켜 한 화면에 모아 시각화 한다. 사진으로 담을 수 없는 마음의 풍경을, 시간이 흐르며 흐려진 기억과 감정들을 다시 선명하게 만드는 작업인 것이다. 린넨 위에 그려진 작가의 그림은 가라앉아 있던 순간들을 떠오르게 하고, 그 당시에 느꼈던 감정은 그려내는 행위를 통해 아련함 속에서 다시 피어난다.
Moments come together to form daily life, and within daily life are woven a variety of experiences and emotions. Artist Lee Kyunghoon projects abstract emotions surrounding “moments” onto figures, landscapes, and objects, bringing them together on a single canvas. His work makes visible the inner landscapes of the heart—scenes that cannot be captured by a photograph—reviving blurred memories and emotions that have faded with time. Painted on linen, his works call forth moments once submerged, and the emotions felt at the time reemerge through the very act of painting, blossoming again in a gentle haze of nostalgia.
