작가 이하린은 흙이라는 매개를 통해 인간 내면에 대한 탐구를 형상화하고 있다. 인물의 모습을 세밀하게 조각했던 초기작을 지나 다양한 유약의 색상을 활용해 인간의 본질과 그 안에서 이루어지는 수많은 관계적 장치들을 탐구한다. Let the Ears talk 展에서는 인간의 귀를 형상화하여 기억과 감정세계를 응축하는 상징성을 드러내며 소통을 탐구하는 조형적 매개체로 표현된다.
Artist Lee Harin materializes the exploration of the human inner world through the medium of clay. Moving beyond her early works, which meticulously sculpted human figures, she now utilizes a variety of glaze colors to investigate the essence of humanity and the myriad relational mechanisms within it. In the exhibition Let the Ears Talk, she shapes human ears to reveal their symbolic capacity to condense memory and emotion, expressing them as sculptural mediators of communication.
