Artist Min Kyung Suk employs a realistic mode of depiction while capturing scenes in which forms are visually transformed through the filtering effect of transparent vinyl. She hopes that familiar and ordinary objects can be perceived as something different within the painting, presenting an elevated form of representation that goes beyond imitation of shapes to encompass the unseen reality, the image, and even the essence itself.
