작가 허윤경은 흙을 만질 때마다 느껴지는 온도로 손끝의 감정과 기억을 전달하고 있다. 단청의 색이 그 온기에 스며들고, 삼베의 결이 흙의 숨과 이어져 있듯이, 하나의 그릇도 그 온기를 품고 태어난다. 작가에게 색은 단지 빛이 아니라, 시간과 마음이 켜켜이 머문 흔적이다. 이번 전시는 그런 색의 온기를 도자기의 결 위에 머금고자 한 기록이다. 나아가 한국의 아름다움을 담은 작품들을 통해 전통의 색과 질감이 현대 도자기에 머무는 순간을 담았다.
Artist Heo Yoon-kyung conveys emotions and memories through the warmth she feels each time she touches clay. The colors of Dancheong permeate this warmth, and the texture of hemp intertwines with the breath of the earth—so that even a single vessel is born holding that warmth within. For the artist, color is not merely light, but a trace layered with time and sentiment. This exhibition is a record of her attempt to capture the warmth of color upon the surface of ceramics. Furthermore, through works that embody the beauty of Korea, it presents the moment when traditional hues and textures dwell within contemporary ceramic art.
