드로잉, 존재의 흔적 展은 존재(being)를 근본적으로 탐색하는 드로잉(drawing) 작품들로 기획되었다. 드로잉은 통상적으로 아이디어의 탐구 혹은 회화를 위한 밑그림으로 인식되었지만, 최근에 들어 하나의 독자적인 미술 장르로 자리잡고 있다. 드로잉은 존재에 관한 사유를 선묘와 선의 중첩으로 시각화한다. 드로잉은 형상을 넘어 감각에 의존하여 오직 신체와 화면 사이의 관계를 탐구하고 비가시적인 가치와 아름다움을 표출한다.
“Drawing, Traces of Being” is an exhibition conceived around drawing works that fundamentally explore the notion of being. While drawing has traditionally been understood as a means of exploring ideas or as a preparatory sketch for painting, it has more recently established itself as an independent artistic genre. Drawing visualizes reflections on existence through line and the layering of lines. Moving beyond mere form, it relies on sensation to investigate the relationship between the body and the surface, expressing invisible values and forms of beauty.
